Matt Markel (Lead Trumpet)
Dr. Matt Markel is a powerful and energetic trumpet player in the Northwest Florida area. Matt is the lead trumpet in the swing / rock band The Swingin' Dick Tracys, and is also the lead trumpet player for Pensacola's well known Joe Occhipinti Big Band. He regularly performs with the Emerald Coast Blues Brothers and Deja Vu, and is one of the lead players with Fort Walton Beach's Playground Swing big band (which recently performed with vocalist David Seering).  Matt has performed with the Northwest Florida Symphony, Eastside - Westside, Tall Cotton, the Don Lewis Orchestra, and was the lead trumpet for the Latin band La Orquesta Tropical and Keith Ellis' SESSIONS Big Band in St. Louis, MO.  Dr. Markel was the lead trumpet for the Pensacola Little Theatre's 2008 production of La Cage aux Folles. His jazz trio, The Starlight Jazz Combo, has performed for several venues in the Fort Walton Beach and Destin area.  Matt plays a Reeves (Bra Spa) VR-II trumpet and Reeves high-efficiency mouthpiece.

Scott Langholff (Keys)
Scott is a graduate of The University Of Wisconsin - Whitewater with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in music. Following college he worked for Getzen Musical Instrument Co. Of Marengo, Illinois, makers of Doc Severinsen trumpets. In 1976 he began working for Warren-Schey House of Music, a full line music store in Watertown, Wisconsin. The following year he bought this music store and eventually re-named it Langholff Music.

Since 1985 Scott has resided in Florida continuing in music retail selling, teaching and performing concerts and dinner dances on organ and keyboard. He was with Fletcher Music Centers many years and was the Manager and Director of Education in Pensacola, Florida. He was also associated with Dollarhide’s Music of Pensacola as home organ specialist and educator.  Some of Scott's music samples are available here.
